Williams Grove Group Camp

Williams Grove Group Camp is part of Humboldt-Redwoods State Park. The camp is set among old-growth redwoods along the Eel River and adjacent to the Avenue of the Giants, ½ mile north of Myer's Flat. Campers here enjoy hiking, swimming, and fishing. In the summer, a seasonal bridge provides access to backcountry trails.

Williams Grove Group Camp has 2 group sites, one which can accommodate up to 40 people and the other up to 60 people. The sites can be combined. Although there are no showers at the group sites, campers may use the showers at nearby Hidden Springs Campground.

Humboldt Redwoods State Park is the guardian of thousands of acres of old-growth coastal redwoods. Groups camping ar Williams Grove Group Camp are along the Avenue of the Giants and close to the Eel River.

Key Williams Grove Group Camp Regulations

  1. Wood collecting in the park is not permitted. That includes even twigs and leaves.
  2. Quiet Hours are from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.
  3. Prevent problems with bears by storing food and similar items in bear-proof lockers or canisters.
  4. RVs and trailers are not permitted at this tents-only campground.
