Dennison Park Campground

Dennison Park Campground is operated by Ventura County Parks. Dennison Park is along Santa Paula - Ojai Road, about 2½ miles southeast of Ojai. The park offers scenic views of the Ojai Valley. Mature trees provide plenty of shade for campsites and picnic areas. Facilities at the park include a playground and horseshoe pits. Lake Casitas is 11 miles to the west.

Dennison Park Campground offers 32 campsites for tents and smaller RVs or trailers. Picnic tables, fire pits, and drinking water are provided, along with coin operated showers. There are no hook-ups available. The campground has a reputation for clean restrooms and friendly camp hosts.

General Camping Information

Opening and closing dates of campgrounds are only estimates, usually dependent on weather conditions. Not all campsites can accommodate trailers or RVs of all lengths. If using a reservation website, check to be sure your vehicles will fit in the parking space for your campsite.

In order to prevent the spread of invasive insects, obtain firewood locally.

  1. Dogs are allowed in the campground on leash, but they are not allowed in Dennison Park (except for guide dogs). There is a limit of 2 dogs.
  2. Quiet Hours are from 9 PM to 7 AM (no generators).
