Ellery Creek Campground

Ellery Creek Campground is located in the Shasta-Trinity National Forest, on the McCloud Arm of Shasta Lake. Campers find good fishing along the shore near the campground. Boaters can launch their vessels at Hirz Bay about 5 miles away. Ellery Creek is known as one of the prettier campgrounds around the lake.

Ellery Creek Campground has 14 campsites for RVs, trailers, and tents. Many of the sites have nice views of the lake, including a number of sites which are best suited for RVs or trailers right along the campground road beside the lake (see photo below). Deciduous trees offer good shade and privacy for the campsites. Most of the campsites among the trees away from the lake are well separated.
