Trimmer Campground

Trimmer Campground is on the shore of Pine Flat Lake, 35 miles east of Fresno in the Sierra foothills. The lake is operated by the Army Corps of Engineer. With a mixture of oak and pine on the surrounding hills, Pine Flat has much more the feel of a mountain lake than nearby Millerton Lake.

Visitors to Pine Flat Lake enjoy exploring its winding waterways by boat, waterskiing and fishing. The lake has several launch ramps and two marinas. A launch ramp is adjacent to the campground.

Trimmer Campground is perched on terraces overlooking the upper end of the lake. While the campground itself is not very scenic, the views of the lake when it is near capacity are beautiful. Trimmer Campground has 10 campsites. Half are for RVs, trailers, or tents and the other half are for tents only. Free hot showers are an unusual bonus at Trimmer.
