Mayflower Regional Park Campground is along Colorado River a short distance north of Blythe. Visitors to the park enjoy the beauty of the river, scattered trees, and expanses of open space. A boat dock and ramp at the park allow for easy access to the river. Water skiing and fishing are popular. A sandy beach is found just outside the park. Shuffleboard, horseshoes, and lawn bowling are available.
Mayflower Campground has 152 RV sites with water and electric hook-ups. Another 27 tent sites close to the river are called "dry camping", but water spigots are nearby. Campsites are not paved.
Some previous campers recommend bringing bottled water for drinking. At times mosquitoes can be bothersome.
