Serrano Campground

Serrano Campground is the only family campground along the shores of Big Bear Lake in the San Bernardino National Forest. Set in a pine forest, the campground is close enough to walk to Big Bear Lake. Swimming, boating, waterskiing, and fishing are all popular activities there. Other favorites are cycling and hiking. The nearby Big Bear Discovery Center is a great resource for outdoor activities.

In all, Serrano Campground offers 109 campsites. Sixteen sites are double sites. Twenty-nine of the have full hook-ups (30 amp). There is a 3-night minimum stay on holiday weekends at Serrano Campground.

Key Serrano Campground Regulations

  1. Campfires are only permitted in provided fire rings.
  2. Quiet Hours run from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.
  3. No unreasonably loud generators.
  4. Dogs are required to be on leash and always attended.
  5. Avoid problems with bears by securing food in bear-proof lockers.
  6. Prevent the spread of invasive insects by obtaining firewood locally.
  7. No more than one RV per single site.
