Fleming Meadows Campground
Fleming Meadows Campground is spread across the rolling hills close to the dam at the southern end of Don Pedro Lake. Known for its great boating and fishing, Don Pedro Lake draws campers from around the state.
Don Pedro Lake is 45 miles east of Modesto. Boaters enjoy the lake's 13,000 surface acres for wakeboarding and waterskiing. Windsurfers and sailors appreciate the lake's steady afternoon breezes. Houseboaters like cruising along the lake's 160 miles of shoreline, exploring inlets and coves. Fishing is rewarding from shore or boat for bass, rainbow trout, and Kokanee and Chinook salmon.
