Lake Perris Campground
Lake Perris Campground, also known as Luiseno Campground, is within the Lake Perris State Recreation Area, 11 miles southeast of Riverside. The lake is popular for boating and fishing, swimming and windsurfing. In the summer, the lake's new Waterpark features colorful inflatable floating play structures (adults $15, children $10, seven and under $5).
Fishing at Lake Perris is excellent for rainbow trout, catfish and Alabama spotted bass. Along the shore are opportunities for hikers, bikers and equestrians. South of the dam is an area popular with experienced rock climbers.
RV Camping and Tent Camping at Lake Perris Campground
Lake Perris Campground has areas designated for either tent camping or for RV camping. The 177 tent camping sites are in four loops (Quail (2), Road Runner, and Bobcat). The 254 RV campsites are located in 2 loops, Coyote and Deer. The RV area has electric and water hook-ups available. During the summer heat campers are encouraged to bring shade canopies. Lake Perris also offers 7 primitive Equestrian Campsites separate from the main campground. There are also 6 Group Campsites.

RV hook-up campsites have water, grey water, and electrical hookups.

Dump Stations operated by Sani-Star are available for $10 per use.
Electrical Hook-ups Most hook-up sites have 30 amp electrical hook-ups. 50 amp hook-ups are found at sites 105, 118, 131, 209, 229, 237, 262, 270, and 200. Site 112 is a 50 amp handicap access site. An adapter is required for the electrical hook-up if the RV does not run 50 amps.
Tent and Non-hookup Camping
Tent sites have no hook-ups. Those with small travel trailers may also use these sites.
Tent sites can usually hold 2 medium size tents or 4 2-person tents.
People - Each site can accommodate up to 8 people.
Vehicles - Reservations cover 1 vehicle. More vehicles may fit in your site for a per night fee. Vehicles with license plates, e.g. boat trailers, are subject to the extra per night fee.
