Sundew Campground

Sundew Campground rests on the northwest shore of Bucks Lake in the Plumas National Forest. Visitors at the campground enjoy fishing, hiking, mountain biking, and boating. A boat launch ramp is nearby at Sandy Point. A lakeside beach there makes for great swimming.

Sundew Campground gets its name from the spectacular sunrises as golden morning light spreads over the lake. Many campers position camp chairs so that they can watch the sunrise as they sip their coffee.

The 19 campsites at Sundew Campground can accommodate RVs, trailers, and tents. The sites are well shaded by trees. Boats can be moored along the shore close to the campsites.
