Ritchey Campground

Bothe-Napa Valley State Park and its Ritchey Campground are operated by the Napa County Regional Park and Open Space District. The park is in the heart of Napa Valley, only a few miles from Calistoga. Visitors enjoy swimming in the park's pool, hiking, and picnicking. The campground gets its name from nearby Ritchey Creek.

Ritchey Campground has 23 campsites for RVs, trailers, or tents. They also offer 18 tent sites. Half of them are regular tent sites which may be reserved. The other 9 are walk-in tent sites which are first come, first served. The walk-in sites only accommodate up to 5 people per site and 1 vehicle. Campers enjoy the gentle sounds of the creek passing nearby.

Ten Yurts are in the park, some located in the campground and others in an area called Yurtville. The Yurtville Yurts pick up a lot of highway noise while those in the campground are well shielded from outside noise. The park also includes a Group Campsite. In addition, Ritchey Campground has a Hike & Bike site.
